Who Is Eligible?
All employees who must be absent from work for more than 3 days for military service are eligible. Military service includes active duty, active duty for training, initial active duty for training, inactive duty training, full-time National Guard duty, and absence from work for an examination to determine fitness for military duty, or funeral honors duty performed by National Guard or reserve members.
The maximum duration of a military leave is five (5) cumulative years.
